Winter Weather Preparation

As the seasons change we tend to forget about the simple necessities of keeping up with the measures it takes to maintain our homes during the cooler days.  While maintaining your home on a regular basis is the best way to prevent costly repairs, and unseen problems, often times we get into our day to day life, and put cleaning those gutters at the bottom of the list for next weekends chore list.  I know life gets messy between kids and work and PTA meetings, but here are some quick tips to keep you warm & cozy for the next few months.  Also, keep you comfortably at ease with the money you are saving for the family Christmas vacation.

    1.  Winterize AC Unit to prevent damage from frost or snow.

    2.  Store patio furniture & BBQ in dry place.

    3. Check your driveway for surface cracks and reseal it if needed.

    4.  Examine your windows & doors for proper sealing.

Not only will this help you sleep just a little better at night, but you can rest peacefully knowing you’re not breaking the bank either by saving on your utility bills with fixing just the simple, quick fixes around the house.
