Good Afternoon Viewers!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend! I feel as if there is a lot to learn about mortgages than what I have already given you. So I have made today “Mortgage Tips Tuesday”. This idea came once again from Amy Broome with Sierra Pacific Mortgage. She came by our office and dropped off packets for our future buyers to use. As I was reading through the packet I cam across a page that read “DO’s and DON’Ts of the Mortgage Process” I have attached this flyer below and I think this is for sure something to read and think about.
DO’s and DON’Ts of the Mortgage Process
Some personal tips that I think are useful as well would be:
- DO Homework on the loan you are receiving. The more you know going into it the better understanding you will have in the future.
- DON’T spend frivolously. Getting a new home is exciting and we want to decorate and nest which is normal, but wait until after you have your home to see what you can afford.
- DO ask questions. Whether it be to your agent, your lender, or even a previous homeowner make sure to ask questions that are weighing on your mind because no question is a dumb question.
I hope that these tips help any future home buyers. I love the information that has come from Sierra Pacific and I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you all.
