Local children will love The Wizards of Artz

It’s that time of year again.  Young children have just finished another year of school, and parents are looking for something for them to do.  Well, the Anderson Arts Center has you covered.

The center is hosting a summer camp for kids called “The Wizard of Artz” (with a “z”).  It is their chance to learn all about arts and crafts, and they have plenty of opportunities to get creative and learn how to create their own art and heighten their imagination.

While classes have already begun, they will be held until August 5.  As a result, there are plenty of opportunities to have your child explore their creative side.  There are half-day camps for children 4-12 from 8 a.m. till 12 noon, and full-day camps for children 6-12 from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m.  Camps will take place at the Arts Center and, at times, off-site to allow your kids experience different forms of art.

Kids will have the opportunity to learn about magic, acts of kindness and other art projects.
