It’s time to celebrate the end of 2015 and a new beginning in 2016

New Year’s Eve is quickly approaching.  For those that are looking to go out and celebrate in a big way, the Upstate has several options for you.

The Upcountry History Museum in Greenville is celebrating New Year’s Eve with a southern gala supporting the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.  It is a black tie optional event in conjunction with B&R Events, LLC.  General admission will feature a red carpet reception, hors d’oeuvres, full open bar, a DJ and champagne toast.  VIP admission allows for early entry at 8:30, priority parking, signature drinks and a donation to CCFA.

Dr. Mac Arnold’s Plate Full O’Blues featuring Roots Smokehouse is cooking up a New Year’s Eve feast.  It also features live music, cash bar. and “all the smoked goodness you can eat” — all for the price of $60.  Proceeds benefit Lindsey Bates Motley’s Leap of Faith Overlook at the Cancer Survivor’s Park.

The Alchemy Comedy Theater will host local DJ, Bradezone.  The show starts at 10 p.m. with a cash bar opening at 9:30.  Following the show, champagne will be provided “for the countdown to 2016!”

Moe Joe Coffee and Music House will have live music featuring Jacob Johnson and Brooks.  A free champagne toast, party favors and discounted refreshments will be available.  Tickets are $25 in advance (until 2 p.m. on New Year’s Eve) and $35 the day of the event.

Those and other events can be viewed at clubzone.com’s Greenville section.
