Now that it’s May, and it is getting hotter and more humid, you are probably looking for meals that are easy to make. But, remember – don’t sacrifice your health for a quick bite-to-eat.
The Food Network has some ideas that you can make in a snap, and the best part is you won’t have to sacrifice your waistline. They include grilled vegetable wraps, salads and soups.
But, did you know some sandwiches are healthy too?
If you go to your local supermarket, there is a wide array of meats you can buy at your deli counter. Just watch the calories, sodium and other factors. In addition, the bread you choose can either help or hurt you. For example, a roast beef sandwich on multi-grain bread can be a healthier choice than some other choices out there.
Your local fast-food restaurant may be quick and easy, but remember to watch your calories and sodium intake. Those quick meals may be easy to get, but you’ll be packing on the pounds later.
The Powell Group invites you to explore your local market for healthy quick lunches that you can make in your own kitchen. Our team members are here to answer any questions you may have.
