Greenville has dedicated a boardwalk to its Cancer Survivors Park

In honor of the recent World Cancer Day, Greenville dedicated a boardwalk to its Cancer Survivors Park.  According to Liv Osby at greenvilleonline.com,  this is just the first phase of a project that is expected to end in 2017.  It will transform an area into a place where people can walk and gather.

The Powell Group knows that many local citizens have been touched – directly or indirectly – by the disease.  We appreciate that this area and learning center is becoming accessible to all members of our community.

For those that understand what cancer can do, this new area will be a place that people can come together.  They will be able to learn about disease’s effects and help start conversations among each other to help each other heal.

The Powell Group invites you to explore this new community and surrounding areas.
