Downtown Anderson showcases more reasons to explore the area

Downtown Anderson has always been an area that thrived from it’s rich history of being The Electric City.  The look of its area shops and stores has always brought back memories of the days of yore.

However, according to the Independent Mail, recent additions have brought an eclectic taste to the downtown area.  Stores exhibiting different food and drink have moved in.

While the Cigar Bar and Pizza Buffet are gone, new sites such as Cocobon Chocolatiers and Deja Vu have recently added new flavors to Anderson.

Cocobon Chocolatiers offers several decadent chocolate candies.  The treats have “simple ingredients made from scratch”.

Another new locale, Deja Vu, is a “bar and tavern” offering several drink specials with a big stage for live performances and a spacious dance floor.  In addition, starting Saturday, they will also have small-plate food fare with a suggested wine pairing for your meal.  Saturday’s grand opening will also feature food and drink specials.  The tavern will be open Monday – Saturday while the kitchen will be open Wednesday – Saturday.
