Some of us are still looking for that perfect Christmas tree. Sure, we think about the size and shape of the tree. After all, we want it to fit in our house. But, did you know that colored Christmas trees are now an option?
While your usual green Christmas tree is still very popular, trees of many different colors are also getting noticed. The right color can be the perfect holiday accent for you and your family.
Many Christmas tree vendors have started doing this. If they don’t, you can easily find out how to get it done. All it takes is a little tinting of your choice of color and presto! You have your own uniquely colored tree.
But, take precautions! There are some things to look out for.
First, because of the tint or paint (whichever is used to color the tree), your tree could start off having a different smell. If you have an issue with paint smells, consider asking about the coloring first.
Secondly, there’s a chance that the paint could drip onto the floor below the tree – especially if it’s near a fireplace. Make sure the floor is covered around the tree. If the paint drips, cleaning it up will not be a fun task.
