    Coconut Macaroons

These summer nights are amazing and there is always something that can make it better…desserts! I

love to bake in my free time. It clicked to me that coconut is a wonderful summer treat so why not make

    a dessert out of it.

That’s when I decided to make coconut macaroons!

Everyone makes their macaroons differently so if you have any tips or ideas for my recipe, please let me

know. I am always willing to try something new in the kitchen.

    14 oz of shredded coconut

    3 Tablespoons of flour

    1 Tablespoon of Vanilla Extract

    1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk

Pre-heat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine the coconut and flour in a bowl and stir

together. Then add in the condensed milk and vanilla. Mix well. Place parchment paper on a baking

sheet and spray with pam. I like to spray my hands with pam when I roll the Macaroons out but it is

whatever you are comfortable with. I rolled the Macaroons out for a count of roughly 25. Bake in the

oven for 18 minutes. Yes, that is an odd number but 15 minutes is too low and 20 minutes is too high. I

found that 18 minutes to be just right.

You can make them even more delicious by drizzling chocolate or caramel on top of them. You could

even use the Macaroons as an ice cream topping. These are delicious treats and remind me of being in

the Caribbean. So get to baking and enjoy your sweet treat!
