Anderson welcomes a new Mexican restaurant to its growing menu

Anderson, SC has become an area featuring a plethora of different restaurants.  These menus feature food from a variety of different cultures.

One such new choice has opened on Greenville Street.  The restaurant formerly known as El Patron has reopened with a new name.

The Mexican eatery – now known as Casa Fuentes – has all the menu items that you expect such as tacos, burritos and fajitas.  But, as Jake Grove from the Independent Mail explains, that’s not all.

“Many old favorites are there, but there is a freshness to some of the new items that is different from the days of El Patron,” Grove said.

He elaborated on the new menu.

“There are 23 special items available for their low-cost lunch from the various combination platters featuring tacos, burritos, chile relano, enchiladas, chalupas and quesadillas,” Grove said.  “They also have specialty burritos like the Don Pepe with steak, the Don Senor with chicken, the Don Light with grilled veggies and the Don Cheto with chicken and pico de gallo.”

Casa Fuentes is one of many restaurants in the Western Upstate that offers eclectic flavors from around the world.  The Powell Group invites you to explore our many menus.  After your meal, you can view any of our area’s available homes.  Our team members are happy to speak with you about your questions or concerns.
